2016 Champion of the 5-Year-Old Young Jumper Championship Western League Finals. Camelot bested 29 other 5 year olds over three days of competition to go clear in 4 rounds winning the 6 horse jump off by .2 seconds. Read about the jump-off on the Young Jumper Champions website.
This "Woodside bred" youngster is fulfilling the promise of his succesful Grand Prix sire Contiano BF – also woodside bred. As a foal, Camelot was stunning, correct and unusually well-balanced. He was awarded premium and foal of distinction from Oldenburg as a stallion prospect and was provisionally approved BWP future breeding stallion. He was gelded recently in favor of his potential match with junior or amateur and knowing that his sire is continuing to produce quality progeny.

With a sweet nature and plenty of energy he was easy to start and bring along. The athletisism and balance, are now evident in an accomplished 5 year old with a good stride that is jumping solid courses at 1.15/1.20 meter and sees no need to touch a fence. He loves the job he was bred to do.
