Origin of the Black Tulip Breeding Program for OMR

High performance Dutch Black Stallions, matched with premium performance mares, producing elite jumpers :

our Black Tulips.

Modern show-jumping courses require a special horse with the power to jump huge obstacles, the desire to leave the rails up and the athleticism to change gears quickly..                                       Practical Horseman, August 2015

Presley Boy in his day was thought by many to be "the best horse in the world".

He was the perfect jumping package: careful,

                                                                    correct conformation,

                                                                           huge scope,

                                                                                 big heart and

                                                                                      calm temperament.

<< He jumped the toughest courses, in a snaffle bit, with a smile on his face >>                                                                                                                               said Anthony D'Ambrosio.

OMR believes he is a foundation sire for future generations of show jumpers.

Orlando Go is AES approved with a track record at 1.35-1.45 meter Young Riders in Europe.

He was imported as the owner's riding horse.

He enjoys trails, dressage, bananas and most of all jumping.

Anthony D'Ambrosio commented <<  he is very kind and correct, shows you the distance.

"He reminds me of Presley Boy >>

These two similarly bred KWPN stallions began the OMR love affair with this line that we believe when crossed with good mares will produce jumpers with the aptitude for the professional and temperament for an amateur.
